A methodology of applying colors on any surface such as piece of cloth, canvas, papers, wood, even on glasses and lacquer is termed as painting. Now day’s wide variations are observed in painting methods where in the artistic paintings are a collaboration of drawing capability, color combination and other artistic combinations it is helpful to provide the gesture of mood, expression and intention of the painter.
Painting is nothing but method of representing ones style with varied intents and purposes which show variations as per the painter. Out of many painting options available nature paintings are the most prominent ones which includes natural scenes or any landscape paintings. Other types of painting which are being seen are photographic, unusual paintings , symbolic paintings or sometimes they are also used to express ones emotions or it can be a painting based on political issues.
As pitch and rhythm are considered as essence of music in the same way color and its intensity i.e. tones are considered to be the essence of painting. Color used for painting depends upon the choice of painter and it also goes with the requirement of painting for e.g. sun is always painted with orange or yellow color but sometimes the painter paints it with black which shows the expression of sorrow , so painting are a work of subjective and psychological effects.
Thus a painting is nothing but a picturesque of the artistic bend of mind of an artist or painter which is accomplished with the use of artist brush and color.
