Depending upon the source lighting can be broadly classified in two ways viz. artificial sources and natural sources. Artificial sources include things such as lamps, tube lights or any material of such kind wherein natural source includes the illumination of things on account with day light. Gas lightings, candles and oil lamps were used as artificial sources in olden days but in modern period electric lights have come into existence. Good lighting source can provide better enhancement facility but in addition it has adverse effects of lighting and waste of energy.
Indoor lightings are being incorporated by fixing them and they are done in artistic manner to improve the interior effects of it. Lighting fixtures provide many options varying in there functions like some are simple and useful while some have an artistic touch for lighting purpose any material which can withstand heat and is stable in nature can be used.
The most complicated task in lighting is the fixing of light in order to obtain maximum lighting on the surface so that the printed material appear to be clear enough. Lighting are sub grouped on the basis of there use i.e. usual, localized and for task purpose it wholly depends on the splitting of light due to the fixing position.
